Coffee!? Anytime...

Let me just put it out there: "Coffee is a lifeline!!"

And I cannot stress this enough, but my love for coffee is eternal. Whenever someone asks me what my idea of a perfect evening is, my answer is always, "COFFEE!". Now, that evening may not necessarily be a date or anything (even though that is the case for a date too), but in general, if I am to choose how to spend my evening peacefully, it will consist of a hot cup of cappuccino, some paints, an art file and a bunch of Ed Sheeran's songs. And these are all my favorite things together, so what else would I even need?

Moving on to my perfect date, so even though people these days are like, "No! A perfect date nowadays is all about having fun, whether that is at an adventure park, or at a fancy restaurant, or at a bar with a few drinks", I am still a coffee-date person. My perfect date would include having a nice cup of coffee at a cafe and some appetizers, and since we are talking about the "Perfect Date", those appetizers would just be a big jar of cheesy fries and maybe a fudgy brownie to top it up. Well, that's not it because even though I love all the above-mentioned delicacies, I would love to try something new and that should include the dishes that the person with me enjoys having. Now, that would be a "Perfect Date".

I know that people have different tastes and I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but how can someone not like coffee? Some people love drinking tea and that is good but if you can drink tea, then how come you dislike coffee? They belong to the same family where tea should be considered as the elder brother and coffee should be seen as the cute younger sibling, who learns everything from his elder brother, but also refines everything a bit, to look sophisticated. I know that all the tea-lovers would want to kill me after reading this, but I had to do this because no matter how old I get and how many new people I meet, there is one taunt that never changes, "How can someone not like tea? How can you live without drinking tea? Tea is so budget-friendly and since you like coffee, it means you are high maintenance." Well, honestly I've heard all this so many times that I like being high-maintenance now.

Coffee, to me, is a healer. It makes me feel at home with myself. Coffee makes me feel want to have a personality like it. If you are a coffee lover like me, you must've tried different flavors in coffee. And I couldn't help but notice that even though various new flavors can be added to the coffee to bring about a variation in taste, coffee never changes its characteristic taste. It changes its style but it never forgets what it actually tastes like. And this is what I want to achieve. No matter where I am in the next ten years, I always want to stay grounded to my roots, while improving each day. Another characteristic of coffee that I admire so much is how strong its flavor is. If you've ever tried to bake a coffee cake, have you ever wondered how most of the recipes usually bake a chocolate cake batter and just add a tiny bit of coffee powder at the end, with a caution that it is used more than the recommended quantity, the cake will be spoilt. This is how powerful its flavor is. It can overcome anything if it wants to and that is the kind of determination all of us should have towards our goals. And finally, I can't help but mention my love for the quintessential foam over my cup of coffee. It is so soft and bubbly, just the way I always want to be.

I would like to conclude by simply saying, "COFFEE is the BEST!"
